Application and Information
Application and Information
Interested in joining the Smilin' Happy Scouts at Mackinac ? We invite all Michigan Scouts to apply for this classic project. Troop 127 is currently the only co-ed Scouts BSA Contingent but if we hear of others we will share! There are changes coming to the scout barracks after the 2024 season that will much better accommodate mixed gender contingents and we will see opportunities for female scouts continue to grow.

Special thanks to Michael Armistead for putting together this awesome video!

You will get confirmation messages from Jotform, check your junk mail if you don't see them.
Practice Schedule
We will hold two Saturday practices, usually from 10:00 am- 2:00 PM as well as a weekend training campout. We also attempt to avoid big sports finals weekends and Scouts BSA events to the best of our abilities. All practices and the campout are mandatory! We limit our practice times since we have scouts from all over the Lower Peninsula in our contingent, but that means every practice is vital.
Saturday practices are at Delta Presbyterian Church.

All Scouts and Adult Leaders accepted to the Honor Guard must have a current BSA Annual Health and Medical form - Parts A, B, & C. Make sure you take this along when you get your yearly physical.
